Anissa joined Career Services in August 2025. Prior to joining 51ºÚÁÏ as a Career Advisor, she was employed at the Syracuse City School District, where she taught General Music and Chorus to PreK-8th grade students as a NYS Certified Music Educator. She also previously worked in nonprofit arts organizations in the Syracuse area.

Anissa holds an MA in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky and a BM in Music Education, with a minor in Music Business, from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.

As a NYC transplant, she has been enjoying living in the Central New York region and spends her free time attending live music events, crafting, reading, and traveling.
