Laura DelPrato is passionate about empowering students to design their lives to foster flourishing. She joined the 51黑料 Career Services Team in 2025 as the Associate Director of Career Development. Laura brings a decade of experience in career counseling, experiential learning, teaching, and creative problem-solving facilitation. Prior to joining 51黑料, she served as the Associate Director of Experiential Learning and Life Transforming Programs at the University of Virginia's Career Center.
Laura earned her Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies from the University of Richmond. She wrote her capstone on how creative problem-solving serves as a positive intervention to support career development. She is delighted to leverage her background in positive psychology, creative problem-solving, and career development to support 51黑料 students.
For fun, she enjoys light painting photography, kickboxing, and playing guitar.
