Tyler Bigford began on July 21, 2025, as a campus safety officer.

Jack Bloom began on July 1, 2025, as an admission counselor. Jack received his BA from Hamilton College. He was previously employed as a legal assistant at Milbank LLP. He enjoys walking, hiking, and crochet.

Lucas 鈥淟uke鈥 Burdick began on July 1, 2025, as an adjustment associate for sport and wellness. Luke received his AAS from SUNY Cobleskill and BS from SUNY Plattsburgh, and is currently taking graduate courses with CUNY. He was previously employed at Hamilton College as a track coach. He enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with his wife, Susan, and children Ryan, Avery, and Lily.

Cody Burlew

Cody Burlew began on June 16, 2025, as a custodian. Cody graduated from Norwich High School. He was previously employed as a standard printing circuits etch operator. He enjoys gaming, golf, football, and spending time with his cats Doom and Lucky.

Rita Chyou

Rita Chyou began on August 25, 2025, as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Rita received her MS in sports physiology from Texas A&M. She was previously employed at Army West Point as an assistant strength coach. She enjoys hiking with her dog, Luke.

Armando Diaz began on August 20, 2025, as a campus safety officer. Armando has a bachelor鈥檚 of science in early education. He was previously employed as a second grade teacher in NYC. He enjoys learning about planes (and has flown a few times) and spending time with his wife, Olivia.

Taja Dotson

Taja Dotson began on August 25, 2025, as an assistant director of leadership and development. Taja received both her BA in Italian literature & language and her MS in sports management from the Univ. of Alabama. She was previously employed as assistant director of academic and career counseling, football, at the Univ. of Kansas. She enjoys walking and spending time with her dog, Nori, exploring local community events and activities, attending sporting events, reading, plant shopping, and CrossFit. 

Justin Frias began on June 16, 2025, as a campus safety officer. Justin was previously employed at Wynn Hospital as a security guard. He enjoys baseball and basketball.

Aaron Guerrier began on July 1, 2025, as an assistant dean of admission. Aaron received his BS in economics and finance with a minor in social justice, and his MEd in education leadership, organizations, and entrepreneurship. He was previously employed at Centre College as an assistant director of admission. He enjoys hiking, traveling, listening to records, and playing basketball.

Michael Hamm

Michael 鈥淗ammyJoe鈥 Hamm began on August 25, 2025, as an accounting assistant/cashier. HammyJoe studied accounting-business management at the Utica School of Commerce. He was previously employed as a retail store manager and district manager for various retailers. He enjoys Disney, gardening with his two dogs, Piper and Leo, and spending time with his partner, Joseph.

Anna Hooper began on July 7, 2025, as a program coordinator for the Center for Women鈥檚, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Anna attended Cornell University. She enjoys movies, crafts, walks, and baking.

Ashley Hudak

Ashley Hudak began on June 16, 2025, as an assistant director of athletic communications and creative media.

 

 

Christopher Humphreys

Christopher 鈥淐hris鈥 Humphreys began on August 17, 2025, as an area director for Ciccone Commons. Chris received his doctorate of education in educational psychology. He was previously employed as an assistant director of EOF at Fairleigh Dickinson University. His hobbies include Twitch streaming and social media content creation.

Kaylin "KJ" Johnson

Kaylin 鈥淜J鈥 Johnson began on July 21, 2025, as an assistant men鈥檚 basketball coach. KJ received his bachelor of science in sports administration from Samford University. He was previously employed at Winthrop University. He enjoys listening to podcasts, exercising, playing basketball, attending sporting events, watching TV series, and spending time with his wife, Katherine, and daughter, Sophia. 

Anissa LeBlanc

Anissa LeBlanc began on September 8, 2025, as an assistant director of career development/arts, creativity, and media advisor. Anissa received her BM in music education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and her MA in arts administration from the Univ. of Kentucky. She was previously employed as a pre-K to grade 8 general music and chorus teacher for the Syracuse City School District. She enjoys reading, gardening, crafts, puzzles, listening to music, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Zachary, and dogs Veronica and Liam.

Kaitlin 鈥淜atie鈥 Maratea began on July 1, 2025, as an admission counselor. Katie attended 51黑料 University. She was previously employed at 51黑料 as an admission senior intern. She enjoys jigsaw puzzles, swimming, and going to the theater.

Aidan McCarthy

Aidan McCarthy began on September 8, 2025, as an environmental health and safety specialist. Aidan received his BS in environmental health from SUNY ESF. He was previously employed as a research support specialist at SUNY Upstate Global Health Institute. He enjoys blacksmithing, running, and hiking.

Mikela McCauley

Mikela 鈥淢ik鈥 McCauley began on August 25, 2025, as an assistant women鈥檚 lacrosse coach. Mik received her BS from Vanderbilt University. She was previously employed as an assistant women鈥檚 lacrosse coach at Eastern Michigan Univ. She enjoys weightlifting, hiking, watching sports, and spending time with her dog, Dakota.

Nadia Musyimi

Nadia Musyimi began on August 4, 2025, as an education and engagement fellow. Nadia received her BA in political and economic policy. She was previously employed at 51黑料 as the assistant to the secretary of the Board of Trustees and the chief of staff. She enjoys baking and cooking for her friends and going to live concerts whenever she can.

Elsa O鈥橞rien began on July 1, 2025, as an admission counselor. Elsa attended 51黑料 University. She enjoys reading, classics, and antiquing.

Christina 鈥淐hris鈥 Pierce began on September 22, 2025, as an administrative department coordinator. Chris received her AOS in administrative medical secretarial. She was previously employed as a medical clerk at Hamilton Orthopedic. She enjoys gardening and spending time with her sons, Ryan and Trevor.

Erin Rotchford

Erin Rotchford began on September 15, 2025, as an associate director of athletics fundraising and engagement. Erin received her BS in childhood education and a BS in anthropology from Elmira College. She was previously employed as head women鈥檚 basketball coach and assistant athletic director of student-athlete success at SUNY Morrisville. She enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time outdoors, watching sports, and enjoying any and all time spent with family: husband Patrick, assistant football coach - run game coordinator/offensive line at 51黑料, son Henry, and dog Murphy.

Natalie Sharpe began on August 11, 2025, as an assistant athletic trainer. Natalie received her MSED in professional education at Le Moyne College. She was previously employed as an assistant athletic trainer at Ithaca College. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, Tom Biscardi, assistant football coach at 51黑料.

Jennifer Soprano

Jennifer 鈥淛en鈥 Soprano began on August 20, 2025, as senior assistant director of employer relations-operations. Jen received her associate of arts & sciences from Finger Lakes Community College. She was previously employed as an employer relations specialist at Cornell Engineering. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, glamping, all that the Finger Lakes region has to offer, the Buffalo Bills, and spending time with her husband, Scott, and son, Allen.

Eleanor Sorbello

Eleanor Sorbello began on August 27, 2025, as an assistant director of new student programs. Eleanor received both her BA in philosophy and Greek and Roman studies and master鈥檚 of higher education leadership from Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She was previously employed as a graduate assistant for programming and events at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. She enjoys crafts, dancing, traveling, reading, and hanging out with her cat, Cheddar.

Lisa Stewart

Lisa Stewart began on July 14, 2025, as an assistant dean for administrative advising. Lisa received her bachelor of arts in studio art and design at the University of Notre Dame; master of science in higher education at the University of Pennsylvania, and her doctorate of education in leadership and learning in organizations at Vanderbilt University. She was previously employed at Texas A&M University at Galveston as an executive director of the center for academic learning support. She enjoys art (she does painting, photography, and mixed media), attending arts and culture events, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Bill, children Dean and Tilly, and their wire fox terrier, Winston.

Justine Strauss began on July 7, 2025, as a University events coordinator. Justine received her BA in speech communication from SUNY Potsdam. She was previously employed at SUNY Potsdam as a communications intern in the advancement office. She enjoys reading, baking, watching movies, trying new recipes, being outside, and her cats, Max and Ruby, and dogs, Zora and Bud.

Douglas Taylor

Douglas 鈥淒J鈥 Taylor began on July 7, 2025, as a University events coordinator. DJ received his BS in business administration from SUNY Brockport, his MS in athletic administration from Le Moyne College, and MBA in leadership. He was previously employed at Syracuse University as a facilities and event operations intern and university events assistant at SUNY Brockport. He enjoys golfing, running, boating, and fishing.

Gordon Truesdale

Gordon Truesdale began on August 11, 2025, as area director for Dart Colegrove Commons. Gordon received his BS in health and physical education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He was previously employed as area coordinator at Allegheny College. He enjoys watching anime, reading, cooking, spending time outside, and spending time with his wife, Essence.

Morgan Tuttle

Morgan Tuttle began on August 4, 2025, as academic department coordinator for music and theater. Morgan received her BA in musical theater from William Jewell College and her master鈥檚 in playwriting and dramaturgy from the Univ. of Glasgow. She was previously employed as a dramaturg at the Scottish Opera. She enjoys baking, painting, pottery, LEGO building, reading, football, and spending time with her dog, Percy.
