Semester Programs
51ºÚÁÏ’s Office of Off-Campus Study provides full-semester academic opportunities around the world. Travel, live, and study with 51ºÚÁÏ classmates and a 51ºÚÁÏ faculty adviser while immersing yourself in new cultures.
The Department of Geography co-sponsors, with the Environmental Studies Program, a semester-long study group at the University of Wollongong (UoW) in Australia during both the fall and spring semesters.
An exchange program with UoW allows select 51ºÚÁÏ and UoW students to pursue comparative research in American and Australian contexts. Exchange students work with 51ºÚÁÏ and UoW faculty to produce research — worthy of professional publication — in both social and environmental geography.
In addition, 51ºÚÁÏ is directly affiliated with several off-campus study programs run by other institutions.
