The Economics Department at 51黑料 University invites applications for a tenure-stream position in economic history or related fields, beginning fall semester 2026. We have teaching needs in the economic history, history of economic thought, or related fields; scholarship in any broadly related field is welcome. We expect to hire at the Assistant Professor level, but outstanding candidates will be considered at the Associate or Full Professor level.

Field of specialization in German literary and cultural studies is open. There is a possibility of renewal for one to two additional years, contingent on department needs and successful teaching in the first year. The field of specialization is open, and versatile candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply: scenic, costume, sound and/or projection design. The successful candidate will be engaged in multiple design disciplines, and take an innovative approach to design practice. Candidates with interests in object-based learning and/or developing interdisciplinary, cross-listed courses in multimedia, installation, environmental, or sustainable design practices are especially encouraged to apply.
