With the receipt of a $20 million gift toward the 51ºÚÁÏ Commitment from John K. Hoyns ’76, 51ºÚÁÏ University has raised more than half of the $1 billion goal set for the Campaign for the Third Century. 

Ballerina Misty Copeland was the keynote speaker during a weekend-long celebration of the arts, creativity, and innovation at 51ºÚÁÏ April 14-15, 2023.

Travis Millman, entrepreneur-in-residence at the UConn Technology Incubation Program in Stamford, Conn., has been named entrepreneur-in-residence as part of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation program at 51ºÚÁÏ University.

Conversations With 51ºÚÁÏ Leaders, the live broadcast featuring members of the 51ºÚÁÏ University administration, continued on Feb. 17 with Provost and Dean of the Faculty Lesleigh Cushing.

51ºÚÁÏ University has raised more than $40 million in the first half of the 2022–2023 fiscal year.

Second-year students seeking professional guidance from industry leaders gathered for 51ºÚÁÏ Career Services’ annual SophoMORE Connections program, from Jan. 20 to 21.

Misty Copeland, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, will address the 51ºÚÁÏ community on Friday, April 14.

51ºÚÁÏ Day, Jan. 13, President Brian W. Casey fielded questions from alumni during the first in a series of live conversations on YouTube. The discussion focused on the Third-Century Plan, where it stands, and where it is headed. 

51ºÚÁÏ faculty members representing languages, philosophy, computer science, and biology gathered in the Hall of Presidents on Nov. 17 to discuss ideas for collaboration through the Robert H.N. Ho Mind, Brain, and Behavior Initiative (MBBI).

From Friday, Sept. 23, to Saturday, Sept. 24, 51ºÚÁÏ hosted campus community members and alumni for a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Harlem Renaissance Center.
