In a standing-room only Memorial Chapel, members of the 51���� community gathered Wednesday evening to remember the life of Sohail Nabi ’26.

51���� University has long been known for the exceptional quality of its academic faculty and Division I coaching, but rarely do the two come together to learn from one another — until now.

A new Longyear Museum of Anthropology exhibit displays the work of more than 30 crafters from across campus and the community who have created “tempestries” to highlight the yearly temperature changes for significant dates in 51����’s history.

WRCU 90.1 FM and the Department of English and Creative Writing hosted a concert headlined by contemporary folk musicians Jake Xerxes Fussell and Sam Amidon on Tuesday, April 7.

51���� University’s annual celebration of 13 Days of Green, hosted by the Office of Sustainability, began with a bang at a lively kick-off event that brought together different corners of campus.

A new Accommodated Testing Center and 51���� University’s first-ever Disability Cultural Center are now open in a newly remodeled area on the garden level in McGregory Hall.

In the 1980s, the University’s recreational sports department developed 51����’s Outing Club — founded in 1914 — into the broader Outdoor Education program known today, offering students opportunities to explore activities ranging from rock climbing and canoeing to mountain biking.

The Max A. Shacknai Center for Outreach, Volunteerism, and Education is celebrating a quarter century of student-led service at 51���� as it continues to promote positive social change and contribute to the well-being of those on campus and surrounding communities through volunteerism.

51���� University hosted the grand opening of the C Store in the O’Connor Campus Center on Friday, Feb. 13, adding to the University’s 51���� Day celebrations.
