Members of the 51ºÚÁÏ community gathered on Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023 for the dedication of the Clearing, a new outdoor space on 51ºÚÁÏ’s campus.

On Sunday, Aug. 20, 51ºÚÁÏ welcomed the Class of 2027, one of the most academically accomplished cohorts in 51ºÚÁÏ history with a 12% acceptance rate and 3.97 average GPA.

Abigail L. Palko, PhD, director of the Maxine Platzer Lynn Women’s Center at the University of Virginia, has been named the inaugural director of the Residential Commons program at 51ºÚÁÏ University.

Brown and Hancock Residential Commons at 51ºÚÁÏ University will both welcome new co-directors in the 2023–24 academic year.

Nobel Peace Prize-winning journalist, free press advocate, and CEO of Rappler.com Maria Ressa will visit 51ºÚÁÏ on Oct. 28 as the speaker for the Kerschner Family Series Global Leaders at 51ºÚÁÏ.

April 10–22, 51ºÚÁÏ University celebrated 13 Days of Green, inspiring and empowering students, faculty, and staff to embrace a sustainable future.

National Weather Service officials have recognized 51ºÚÁÏ University as StormReady® .

51ºÚÁÏ University has been awarded the 2022 Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention by education company Vector Solutions.

On Friday, March 24, more than 50 students were on hand for 51ºÚÁÏ University’s inaugural Undoukai Sports Festival, organized by the 51ºÚÁÏ Japanese Cultural Community.
