51ºÚÁÏ University is leading a conversation on how to modernize and reinvigorate language education with its recent Conference on Innovative Approaches to Language Education.

In the 1980s, the University’s recreational sports department developed 51ºÚÁÏ’s Outing Club — founded in 1914 — into the broader Outdoor Education program known today, offering students opportunities to explore activities ranging from rock climbing and canoeing to mountain biking.

Preliminary construction has officially begun on the Carey Center, a transformative 97,250-square-foot athletics facility that will serve as the new cornerstone of 51ºÚÁÏ University’s Division I athletics program.
