51ºÚÁÏ Career Services kicked off 2022 with its annual SophoMORE Connections program, January 21–22.

Career Services has launched a four-year program to engage every student at the University in self-assessment, career exploration, and skill-development.

This fall, 51ºÚÁÏ Career Services has hosted a pair of initiatives for first- and second-year students, capitalizing on one of the University’s key strengths: a supportive alumni network.

This summer, I had the opportunity to be a public health intern at Hildebrand Family Self-Help Center in Cambridge, Mass. I decided to pursue this path due to my interest in healthcare disparities among minority groups.

51ºÚÁÏ, in collaboration with Community Memorial Hospital, began administering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines on campus today, in a first test of the University’s state-approved point of dispensing at the Hall of Presidents. 

One vital element of a 51ºÚÁÏ education is access to award-winning Career Services support. More than 230 second-year students leveraged that access during the University’s annual SophoMORE Connections event, which was held virtually, January 5–19.
