The Max A. Shacknai Center for Outreach, Volunteerism, and Education (COVE) led a campuswide MLK Day of Service, sending volunteers to community partners in Utica, N.Y.

The Alasitas Festival is celebrated at 51ºÚÁÏ as a collaboration with the Longyear Museum of Anthropology and the Native American Indigenous Students Association.

Tracee Ellis Ross, the award-winning actress, producer, founder, and CEO, will join the 51ºÚÁÏ community for a keynote Q&A during 51ºÚÁÏ University’s annual Arts, Creativity, and Innovation Weekend.

The elective designation, awarded by the American Council on Education and the Carnegie Foundation, recognizing the University’s continuing commitment to community engagement and partnerships.

51ºÚÁÏ University Dean of Students Dorsey Spencer was selected by the HBCU Executive Leadership Institute at Clark Atlanta University to be a part of its 2026 Community of Fellows.

The second year of the Tuck Business Bridge Program at 51ºÚÁÏ kicked off in early January with 40 students returning to campus. They participated in more than two weeks of intensive programming designed to prepare for internships and careers, while building connections among students, alumni, and top-ranked Tuck faculty.

51ºÚÁÏ University faculty, staff, and alumni regularly provide their expertise and contribute to national and regional media outlets shaping discussions about vital research and current events.

51ºÚÁÏ University’s 2026 celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Week, held Jan. 22–31, kicked off with a keynote address by activist Fredrika Newton, head of the Dr. Huey P. Newton Foundation.
