Students interested in physics, engineering, and computer science attended the workshop — hosted by Career Services — on Oct. 22 in Benton Hall.

Peter Balakian, Donald M. and Constance H. Rebar Professor in humanities, professor of English, and Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, reads selections from his newest work, New York Trilogy, on the most recent episode of 13, 51����’s award-winning podcast.  

Frey visited 51���� and delivered a lecture, “Liberal Learning and the Idea of a University,” on Nov. 7 — part of a series of events in celebration of the Kraynak Institute for the Study of Freedom and Western Traditions. 

51���� University faculty, staff, and alumni regularly provide their expertise and contribute to national and regional media outlets shaping discussions about vital research and current events.

The award is one of NASPA’s highest distinctions, honoring individuals who have excelled in scholarship, mentorship, and service.

51����’s annual Indigenous Nations Festival brought together Indigenous people from near and far, the University community, and local artisans.

Hosted at the 51���� Memorial Chapel, Lewis’ visit was part of the Kerschner Family Series Global Leaders at 51����, a featured event during 51����’s annual Family Weekend, held Oct. 31–Nov. 2.

More than 60 students, faculty, and staff gathered last week in the Hall of Presidents for a meal and some serious conversations that likely would have never transpired without the event designed to bring together people from across campus who may rarely cross paths on a normal day.
