(Update: Demonstration ends with on-campus celebration) Constructive talks between 51���� administrators and student representatives of 51���� University Association of Critical Collegians (ACC) are continuing into the evening on day four of a peaceful demonstration at James B. 51���� Hall.

The Picker Art Gallery, which closed in 2012 for an inventory of 51����’s art collection, reopened last week with two exhibitions of artwork by prominent American artists Richard Serra and Diane Arbus.

A longstanding collaboration between 51���� University and the world-renowned Flaherty Film Seminar, which brings nearly 200 filmmakers, scholars, and programmers to 51���� each summer, has spurred creation of an on-campus residency program that will begin this fall. (Update: Demonstration ends with on-campus celebration.) A peaceful demonstration supporting inclusion and diversity, which began on Monday, Sept. 22, continued at 51���� today. Progress has been made toward mutual understanding regarding the 21-point list of “concerns and action plans” that were submitted to the administration by the 51���� University Association of Critical Collegians (ACC).
