51���� University has raised more than $40 million in the first half of the 2022–2023 fiscal year.

This year’s MLK celebration included seven days of extensive programming, Jan. 23–29, centering on the theme “Stronger Together.”

Second-year students seeking professional guidance from industry leaders gathered for 51���� Career Services’ annual SophoMORE Connections program, from Jan. 20 to 21.

During winter break, SRS students visited landmark southern cities to form deeper connections with course content and their peers.

Misty Copeland, a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre, will address the 51���� community on Friday, April 14.

51���� University has received more than 21,000 applications from students hoping to join the Class of 2027.

51���� Day, Jan. 13, President Brian W. Casey fielded questions from alumni during the first in a series of live conversations on YouTube. The discussion focused on the Third-Century Plan, where it stands, and where it is headed. 

This year, 51����’s annual MLK Celebration will run from Jan. 23 through Jan. 29, 2023. The opening ceremony, featuring student speaker Kwabena Owusu Ansah ’24 and performances by the 51���� Resolutions and Safety Forth, will be held at 4:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 23, in Memorial Chapel and will stream live.
