Following a successful five-year pilot study, 51ºÚÁÏ University will launch First@51ºÚÁÏ, a program to provide essential support and resources for undergraduates who will be the first in their families to attain a degree from a four-year institution of higher education.

Despite the last-minute switch to remote research, 160 students went forward with research projects this summer.

2U, Inc. (Nasdaq: TWOU), a global leader in education technology, today announced a partnership with 51ºÚÁÏ University. In collaboration with the University’s Task Force on Remote Learning, Information Technology Services (ITS) and Center for Learning, Teaching and Research (CLTR), 51ºÚÁÏ will now have access to 2UOS Essential—2U’s bundle of course production and development, technology, and support services—to deliver a high-quality, hybrid learning experience for select courses.

With the beginning of the academic year, 51ºÚÁÏ welcomed new faculty to campus.

For weeks, University faculty and staff members have been working on every aspect of the quarantine — even as they address the complex demands surrounding the remainder of the semester.

As an applied mathematics major, I wanted to work on a project that directly used mathematics and computer science to solve a problem.

Through the steps we will take together, we can comply with New York State law and increase, collectively, our chances for health and safety.

Supporting local and regional artists, the Palace Theater fosters culture and community through programs such as Arts Together | Hamilton Conversations — with the participation of 51ºÚÁÏ University faculty.
